How to Heal Yourself
The Demise of the NHS
Learning how to heal yourself is the way forward. In the UK, we are all too painfully aware of how difficult it has become to access hospital treatment and doctors appointments. The NHS that we once relied upon without a second thought, is buckling under the strain. Sadly, it is no longer the reliable go-to it once was. You might be lucky and hit it well, and you equally might not.
Nurture Your Own Health
This is the climate in which I am building my Nurture Your Health blog. After all, prevention is definitely better than cure. And this is possible if we are living in a mindful way.
We can also catch things before they become too deep-seated if we are sufficiently tuned in to act in time.
If we pay attention to our nutrition, learn to manage our stress and live in alignment with our true selves, we stand a better chance of avoiding illness. It does, however, require a commitment and understanding that “popping a pill for every ill” does not.
How to Heal Yourself
Not everyone is clued up on how to live a life that supports health.
For example, there are many confusing messages out there about healthy nutrition. The messaging around fats is a case in point.
We hear of the mental health crisis, but do you know how to support your mental health?
Most people have heard of meditation and mindfulness. But what is it exactly? And do you include it as part of your daily practice?
How much exercise do you do each day, and does it suit you as an individual?
In short, how do you support all aspects of your being – the physical, the mental, the emotional and the spiritual?
All of this will be covered as this resource builds over time.
